The basis of this logo is a simple rounded rectangle. The significance of this shape is found in its proportion. 'Phi' or 'The Golden Mean' is a balance of height and width found in nature and classical designs.
The reversed-out type at the bottom of the logo demonstrates the simplicity of 404's process and products. The overall logo suggests that solutions to complex technical problems are neatly packaged and ready.
