tallysearch is a search engine and web directory serving Tallahassee, Florida. A web startup, tallysearch needed an appealing, memorable identity for its online presence.
The logo has a bold, simple style. Five rounded stripes represent a main element of web browsing: the pointer. The finger shapes bring to mind Tallahassee's skyline, including the state capitol building. The sloped thumb signifies Tallahassee's steep hillsides.
Sports fans will easily recognize the reference to the "We're #1" finger held aloft.
