The Vieques Guide is a guide to the Puerto Rican island of Vieques. 'The Guide' needed a logo to identify their online and offline publications.
The shape combines elements of a bright sun with a compass rose. These symbols of illumination and direction intercede with The Vieques Guide's purpose to provide useful information.
Sunshine and warmth are reflected in the shape and color of the logo. While the compass directs, it does not favor a direction, allowing visitors to choose their own destination.
